Amanda is an occupational therapist (OT) with over 15 years of experience working within a variety of settings and populations. As an OT and mom to two amazing kids, she loves witnessing people of all ages try something new and uncovering their own potential. Amanda's primary passion is supporting child development and school success although, her parenting journey has helped shape her professional practice by guiding her to expand into evidence-based approaches supporting maternal physical and mental health needs. Her family approach isn't complete without considering the needs of older adults as they age in their place of choice, integrating cognitive and home safety strategies.
As a graduate of the Queen's University, Occupational Therapy program, Amanda continues to work on professional development and is a life-long learner. She holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PSI), with previous experience volunteering with PSI's perinatal mental health help line.
